COSTUME BALL RULES
1. Costume Guidelines:
- All costumes should be of a modest nature, and adhere to the theme, Historic Medical Marvels. Costumes must be based on a medical figure, be it historical, fictional, or contemporary. We encourage creativity and originality while respecting the medical profession and its history.
- No explicit, offensive, or culturally insensitive costumes. This includes costumes that stereotype or mock any racial, ethnic, religious, or gender group.
- Costumes should not include weapons, or weapon-like props. Any props brought to the event should be easily identifiable as fake.
- Masks should be worn only during the costume contest to ensure everyone’s safety.
2. Code of Conduct:
- Treat fellow attendees with respect and kindness. Harassment or bullying will not be tolerated, and any such behavior should be immediately reported to event staff.
- Respect personal space and ask for consent before taking photos or touching another person or their costume.
3. Alcohol Consumption:
- If alcohol is served, drink responsibly. Attendees who appear to be intoxicated will be asked to leave.
4. Costume Contest:
- A medical-themed costume contest will be held, with prizes for the following categories: Most Memorable Costume, Best Costume and Most Creative
5. Dance Floor:
- Respect others on the dance floor. Avoid excessive or dangerous dance moves that could harm others or cause accidents.
6. Tickets:
- Available Exclusively as Add-ons to your IPAC2023NV Admission
