Writing Learning Objectives can be daunting for some, especially when one factors in the busy and stressful life of our providers. So IPA has teamed up with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine’s Center for Accredited Interprofessional Continuing Medical Education (TTUHSC CAICME) to give you some guidance, inspiration and guardrails. CME/CE/CEU activities are designed to promote changes in the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships between the physician, patients, the public and other physicians, while interprofessional continuing medical education further includes allied healthcare professions, assistants, technologists, technicians, and others participating in one’s continuum of care. Learning objectives for these activities should be written in terms of measurable outcomes.Â
To assist in the development of solid learning objectives, please download Writing Learning Objectives by clicking here.
